About Me

Dan is one of the co‑founders of the Southeastern Virginia Mustang Corner Carvers. He and fellow co‑founder Wayne Williams recognized a gap in the Mustang community on the Peninsula side of Hampton Roads — and quickly discovered that many other enthusiasts felt the same way. When he’s not building this club, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, playing billiards, riding motorcycles, and enjoying all forms of motorsports.

Why Do You Like Mustangs?

To me, the Ford Mustang is the ultimate enthusiast’s car. It’s a platform you can shape into anything you want — a head‑turning cruiser, a quarter‑mile monster, or a backroad and track‑day weapon. Whatever your vision is, the Mustang can be built to match it.

I’ve always wanted a car that’s quick, capable, and looks good while carving through the backroads. That’s what led me from my first Mustang, a 1997 Cobra, to a 2001 Cobra, and now to the 2024 Dark Horse. These cars are simply a blast to drive — whether you’re exploring the backroads or pushing harder on a weekend track day.
